John here and today we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack on our 2022 Toyota Venza. This is gonna be a great choice if you need to take your mountain bikes, your electric bikes, any kind of bike that you really need. Now, right off the bat, let's go over some of the specs so you kind of have an idea of what you can put on this bike rack. And there's not too many bikes that you can't put on. Whenever it comes to how it's being held, it's being held by the back tire here with the strap and then also, this hook right here, and it's gonna be pushed up right onto the bike wheel itself. So there's gonna be no frame contact, which means if you have any carbon frame bikes or odd shaped frame bikes, you're gonna be fine to have this on there. more

Yakima OnRamp E-Bike Platform Rack with Ramp Review - 2022 Toyota Venza- Video
John here, today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2022 Toyota Venza. This is gonna be a great choice if you've got yourself some heavier bikes or maybe some electric bikes and you need to get them to the trail. This is going to have a 66 pound weight capacity which is really good. That's gonna take care of most of your heavier mountain bikes and your electric bikes. And the fact is it has a ramp system which is gonna be very useful and we'll show you that later. But let's say you have those heavier bikes, how are you gonna get them off your bike rack You could lift them off and that is a little bit tougher, but with the ramp system if you aren't as strong whenever it comes to upper body, you're gonna be able to still get those electric bikes off and get them on the road. more

Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2022 Toyota Venza- Video
John here and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Destination 2 bike rack on our 2022 Toyota Venza. This is gonna be a great choice if you need to just get you and a friend out to the bike trails or just to go riding at the park or anywhere else you may need to go with those smaller and lighter bikes. Now, right off the bat, whenever it comes to how it's held, it's going to be held at the frame. It's three points. One that's going to be on the frame here, and then two on the actual wheels. So you're not gonna want to use your odd-shaped frame bikes, even though I will say, it does have a little bit of movement, which is nice, but it will not also be able to go on any of your carbon frame because it could damage it. more

Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack Review - 2022 Toyota Venza- Video
Hi there everyone. Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Destination e-bike rack on our 2022 Toyota Venza. This is gonna be a great choice if you've got some heavier bikes or you have an e-bike that you want to get to the trail and you want to also be able to tilt it away and have all the premium features without having to spend an arm and a leg. Let's take a closer look. Now with a 70 pound weight capacity and a 50 inch wheel base this is going to be able to hold most types of bikes that you may have whether that be your bigger mountain bikes or if you happen to have an e-bike, which the name comes from it's going to be able to take that and which is really nice. I will say though, it is being held by the frame right here and then it's also being held at three different points on the wheels. more

So this is going to be a very nice way of getting two of your bikes, wherever destination might be taking you. Now, I will say, this is going to be for your more medium sized adventures. And what I mean by that, we are gonna have 840 pound capacity rating here for each one of our bikes on our platform. And it is going to be a little limiting on your wheel basis with only about 47 inches at your max. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota Venza nv22g- Video
Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today, we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 here in the back of our 2021 Toyota Venza. So this is gonna be the premier two-bike platform rack carrier here at etrailer.com for a lot of reasons, the Kuat NV has a lot of features to offer and it looks pretty good while it does it. Today, we are working in the gunmetal gray where you're seeing this really nice gray on the platform and some copper orange accents. Now, the NV is also available in a metallic black or a matte black if you we're to go to the Kuat NV base, and we'll kind of break that down a little bit more towards the end of the video, but I really do like this carrier, it is the premier carrier for a lot of reasons. Just to name one of them, we are gonna have a 60 pound weight capacity with this guy, which makes it awesome for a host of different bikes up into your heavy e-bikes and those big old mountain bikes still getting on here and doing the job. Now, I will say, e-bikes are getting heavier and heavier, and if you find yourself over that 60 pound weight capacity, you could look at something like either the Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack or my favorite, the Yakima OnRamp. more

So this is gonna be a pretty decent way of getting a lot of bikes on the back of your vehicle without having to go towards something like a hanging style rack. So you are gonna be a total fit for bikes on here at a 35 pound per bike rating, which is pretty awesome. Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2013 Toyota Venza- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Venza we are going to be doing a test fit of the INNO Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier. Part number INH350. As you can see we have already got our bike up here on our platform so you can see what it is going to look like once you have it fully assembled and in place on the back of your vehicle. This is for 2 bikes to be fork mounted on the back side and it's going to come with a inch and a quarter shank as well as an adapter so you can use it with your class 1, 2 and 3 receivers. The only thing you are going to need to keep in mind is if you do plan on using it with your class 1 receivers is that you keep an eye on the weight of the bikes that you are putting on and that it's stays within your weight specifications of the class 1 receiver that you intend to use. Let's go ahead and start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance is going to be up here at the front to the back side of the bumper and about 3 inches. Overall distance that we have added to the vehicle from the rear of the bumper to the back side of the cradle are about 35 inches and our ground clearance is going to be about 11 inches. Now let's talk about how our bike is secured to our rack. We will have the tilt option here as well. more

Kuat NV Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2013 Toyota Venza- Video
Today, on our 2013 Toyota Venza, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Kuat NV Platform Style 4 Bike Rack, part number N105-107. As you can see, we've already got our bike up here on our platform, so you could see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled and in place on the back of your vehicle. This bike rack does only come with a 2" shank for your 2" receivers only. It will secure to our receiver using a pin and lock assembly. We'll go over that in a moment. First off, let's start off with a few measurements. Our closest distance will be our first measurement up here at the front, from the front side of the rack to the back side of the bumper, at about 6 3/4". more

Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2010 Toyota Venza- Video
Today on our 2010 Toyota Venza, we'll be doing a test fit of the Saris Freedom Super Clamp Platform Style 2 Bike Rack. That's part number SA4025. It can be used for 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. We've got the adapter on here today for our 2" x 2" receiver. Let's go ahead and slide it in place and line up our pinholes. That feels pretty good. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2010 Toyota Venza- Video
Today on our 2010 Toyota Venza we'll be doing a test fit of the CURT Premium tilting 4-bike rack. That's part number C18064. This is for 2" hitches. We've already got it slid into the receiver here today so what we'll waited is go ahead and finish it off. We'll line up our pinholes, and then we'll take our included anti-rattle bolt and thread that through. The nice thing about this anti-rattle bolt is it's going to help reduce some of the play and the rattle within our hitch and our bike rack. more
